Do you use Twitter? I started using it a few years ago largely to promote my online articles. But once I got into it, I really enjoyed it for more than just promotion. Since I work at home, it gives me a way to connect with the world throughout the day, and also works as a really good way to get feedback. Need a recipe? Book recommendation? Twitterers are happy to help.
I still do promotion on Twitter, and find that it works really well for my online articles and books. One of the most common questions I get asked is if I spend “all day” on Twitter. NO! There’s no way I could do that. I honestly spend about 10-20 minutes a day using it, and it works for me with that limited time. It can work for you as well.
