I refuse to think about the lousy horrible awful Packer game yesterday and focus on a better part of the day, the soup I made. It’s our tradition to make soup for the games and I tried out a new recipe we really liked.
One of my favorite shows used to be Aarti Party on Food Network. I really enjoyed her take on Indian food with an American twist. She’s just super cute and fun and a joy to watch. I made tons of her recipes over the years, and one of them has remained a favorite.
Yesterday I made one of our favorite soups for the Packer game. We played San Francisco, who for the last several years has run amok on us. But not so with the game yesterday! And being the fan I am, I do believe my soup was part of the reason we won.

I love the combination of oatmeal and dried cranberries in this recipe.
What is it about a farmer’s market? They’re so colorful, give off a relaxed vibe that makes you think you have all day to stroll and pick out veggies, and so inspiring for healthy living.
I love my crockpot for a lot of reasons. I can buy cheaper cuts of meat, I don’t need to turn on the oven and heat up the whole house, and it’s really easy to use. Crockpots get a bad rap because people just toss stuff in and everything tastes the same when you do […]
I never thought I would like pumpkin soup. As a kid, I didn’t care for pumpkin all that much. Funny how your tastes change. This soup has evolved… I kept changing it and changing it and now I think I’m ready to share it.
