People ask me a lot if I ever get attached to my paintings. Mostly? No. I paint them and whatever happens in that process (the prayers I say, the blessings I receive) is what satisfies me. I am then content to sell my work. (And also, if you’re going to be a working artist you can’t get attached! LOL)
But I have become found of this one, called “Come As You Are.” I get a very peaceful feeling with it. It’s currently hung in my studio and inspiring other works I’m currently doing.
